Flavour B.C. Society works with community food programs across British Columbia to bring flavour, warmth, and dignity back to everyday meals.
We focus on the small things that make food feel like care - spices, tea, and simple pantry additions that invite choice, comfort, and enjoyment.
Our role is not to replace food services, but to complement them - thoughtfully and respectfully.
WHY WE EXIST
Food is more than fuel.
It’s memory, culture, and connection.
In many community food programs, meals are designed to meet nutritional needs — but flavour is often missing.
Flavour BC Society exists to help fill that gap, offering simple additions that bring warmth and agency back to the table.
We believe dignity lives in choice.
And everyone deserves food that tastes like care.

Flavour BC Society is currently in an early program phase, working closely with a small number of partners as we learn, adapt, and grow the program with care.
WHAT WE PROVIDE
We provide simple, flavour-based pantry additions - such as spices and tea - to complement existing community food programs.
Whenever possible, products are sourced from local BC makers and selected for ease of use, shelf stability, and flexibility.
Our support is desinged to fit quietly into work already being done.
No excess. No waste. No pressure.

Our support is designed to complement the work you already do — offering small, thoughtful pantry additions that bring comfort and choice to everyday meals.
This form helps us understand your program and assess capacity. Participation depends on availability
For local Companies & Makers
We partner with BC-based food and beverage makers who believe that good food should be accessible, shared, and rooted in care.
This may include:

We prioritize simple, shelf-stable items that align with dignity, nourishment, and community use.
